13. 10 Portraits

I like this picture because it seems like the yellow lines in the background are leading straight into the subject.

I like how the newborn is in a net.
The facial expression of the baby captures the attention of the people.
I like the setting of the picture. It gives a very casual feeling to the picture of the newlyweds.
The flowers around them emphasize the warmth of the picture.
The reflection of the lights on the ground really captivates people to this picture. The bright lights bring attention to the subject.
The colors, balloons, and audience all give this picture a huge spark.
This picture has an interesting setting that gives the newborn girl more beauty.

11. What Makes a Portrait

To me, what makes a great portrait is having the subject of the picture stand out more than anything else, but also have more definition and detail than the other parts of the picture.

5 "Framing" Photos

5 "Hands and Feet" Photos

I like this photo because it resembles that when two opposites collide they create something beautiful.

It shows how small and fragile a newborn baby is.

This demonstrates the hard work that ballerinas put into their schedule.

This photo shows the new experience that this baby is having.

This photo represents the trouble of moving from place to place.

My Rule of Thirds Photo

This picture is one of my favorites that I've taken. I'm happy with the way it is.

Rule of Thirds

I love the way the sun is on the opposite side of the picture than the boat. It really does a great job of bringing focus to the subject.
I love the location of this picture, as well as the two of them holding hands.
The sunset gives a great spark to the picture as well as the sun blooming in from behing the building.
The mist and colors in the picture gives a very captivating flare to it.
I love how you can see the colors on the fly so distinctly. The purple also adds spice to it.

My "Conveying a Message" Picture

This picture represents the strong friendship and happiness these people have given to one another. I like this photo, but if I could change anything, I would get rid of the lunch boxes and water bottles sitting on the table because I feel they cause distractions to the subjects.
